Broiled Tuna Steaks with Tarragon Cheese Sauce

Broiled Tuna Steaks with Tarragon Cheese Sauce Makes 4 servings Prep: 10 minutes Broil: 6-1/2 minutes Ingredients 1-1/4 pounds fresh or frozen tuna steaks, cut 3/4 inch thick 1/2 cup plain yogurt or light dairy sour cream 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese (2 ounces) 2 teaspoons snipped fresh tarragon or 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon, crushed Directions 1. Thaw tuna fish, if frozen. Rinse tuna; pat dry with paper towels. If necessary, cut tuna fish into 4 serving-size pieces. For sauce, stir together yogurt, cheese, and tarragon. Set aside. 2. Preheat broiler. Place tuna fish on the greased unheated rack of a broiler pan. Sprinkle tuna fish with salt and black pepper. Broil 4 inches from the heat for 6 to 9 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Spoon sauce over fish steaks. Broil 30 to 60 seconds more or until heated through and cheese starts to melt. Makes 4 servings.
