Tucked Sheet Bend [fly fishing]
 Fly Fishing Knot Tucked Sheet Bend Usually a knot that fly fisherman use to tie the backing to the tapered line although not compact it’s a very strong knot. To begin tie a Surgeons Loop at the end of the backing line. Take the end of the tapered line through the Surgeons Loop and make a simple Sheet Bend. Pass the end of the tapered line back through the closed loop of the Sheet Bend. Hold both ends of the tapered line when pulling tight.
