40# Yellowtail caught on 15# test by Eric Korkowski on the Cortez off of Mexico from under a kelp paddy June 10th 07

Share Your Fishing Experiences With Others                    Pictures taken by Eddie M. Guillory over the last 6 weeks on 3 visits at Pismo Beach, CA . Approximately 6 weeks ago I caught 12 weighing 2-3 lbs, 2 weeks later I caught 10 weighing 2-3 lbs and yesterday I caught 15 weighing 1-3 lbs. All on the same baits.
 
These are Barred Surf Perch (BSP) I caught weighing 1-3 lbs using Berkley Gulp Sand Worms and Frozen Squid strips with the majority of them being caught on the frozen squid. Even though over the past 17 years I know for a fact that live blood worms are the best bait, but right now no one has any available.
